The White Paper and Its Following
There is always excellent marketing related posts here
I would definitely like to nominate the blogsite "Marketing Revisited" (see www.marketingrevisited.com).
The great thing about the site is that a lot of the ideas/notions presented are unique, and not the re-hashed stuff you find over the web. Very well written, and a must-read for anyone, from novice marketers to the pros. I find great value and depth in every read.
Call me a suckup if you want to. But this blog is pretty darn good. So I nominate Writing White Papers blog http://www.writingwhitepapers.com/blog/index.php

Can I nominate our blog about blog marketing? Well, now I'm going for all-out self-promo here... http://www.BuildaBetterBlog.com.
http://www.marketingmessageblog.com
A terrific blog which has not yet been nominated and which I consider essential reading for B2B marketing pros is Direct Connections, written by an agency called Connect Direct.
URL is http://connectdirect.wordpress.com/
Why I like it: They help readers better understand what IS effective B2B marketing communication and what isn't. To do that they, on the one hand, provide detailed critiques, analyses, and success stories. On the other, they provide advice on how to think about overall marketing communication strategy (i.e., how to better see the forest for the trees!).

To do that they, on the one hand, provide *detailed* critiques, analyses, and success stories. The Marketing Technology Blog
Both offer excellent commentary, discussion and best of all useable content for marketers.
It is http://douglaskarr.com
Cheers!
I read Krishna De's blog called Biz Growth News http://www.bizgrowthnews.com and it is a great resource both in terms of conecting you to research in the US and Europe but also on the important aspects of how to engage with consumers using social media.
She presents these concepts in a really practical, business focused and commercial way.
And what is especially relevant is that she covers branding from three aspects which most marketers forget to do - your corporate brand, your employer brand and your personal brand as a leader.
Keep the nominations coming and help get out the word by posting about this contest on your blog.
Thanks!
Mike
I nominate that blog as well...great information/marketing tips about building blogs.
Also Copyblogger by Brian Clark at www.copyblogger.com - great writing as well.

Jim McDermott
She does great work and the info she posts is always helpful.

I've worked with her for several years, she knows of what she writes. Great stuff!
Patrick Fetterman has done a great job in providing insight and education to an important component of any software business - from start-ups to large corporations.
For example, Patrick answers these and other key questions:
1) How does marketing relate to lean manufacturing, rapid application development, and the "on-demand" or software-as-a-service delivery model?
2) How does one develop a meaningful and effective marketing plan?
3) What is the effect of cognitive dissonance on marketing?
Keep up the good work Matt!

(If one could nominate a community it would have to be the newly found Gooroze ! :) )
